TECHNICAL SUPERVISION "IMPLEMENTATION OF THE BANANA AND CASSAVA INDUSTRY IN THE DEPARTMENT OF LA PAZ MUNICIPALITY OF ALTO BENI"

General Description

The purpose of this project is the comprehensive supervision of the implementation of an efficient agro-industrial plant in Alto Beni for the processing of banana and cassava, including the construction of administrative and residential buildings, dining rooms and industrial warehouses, with a strong component of sustainability through the use of biomass. Supervision will ensure compliance with technical designs, regulations and quality standards in all stages of construction and start-up. Key Technical Aspects: Comprehensive Construction Supervision: The project involves detailed supervision of the construction of the following buildings: Administrative Block: Functional spaces for management, technical offices, meetings, services and plant control. Housing Block: Residential facilities for essential operational and administrative personnel. Dining Room: Building intended for the food service of plant personnel and transporters. Industrial Warehouses: Structures specifically designed to house the production lines of banana and cassava flour, and the potential balanced feed plant, considering work flows, safety and hygiene. Processing Capacity: Supervision of the sizing and installation of equipment to process significant volumes of fresh banana and cassava (the specific quantity will be defined in the supervised design). Production Lines (Supervision): Verification of the correct implementation of the lines for: Banana Flour: Reception, washing, peeling, cutting, drying (controlled), grinding (specific granulometry), sieving, packaging (hourly/daily capacity). Cassava Flour: Reception, washing, peeling (specific process), grating/crushing, pressing (controlled residual humidity), drying, grinding, packaging. Balanced Feed (Potential): Grinding of ingredients, mixing (precise proportions), pelleting/extrusion (specific size), cooling, packaging (capacity and formulation). Industrial Equipment (Supervision): Inspection of the installation of specialized machinery for each stage (peelers, cutters, dryers, mills, presses, mixers, pelletizers/extruders, packers) according to technical specifications. Quality Control Laboratory (Supervision): Verification of the construction and equipment of the laboratory for analysis of raw materials, process control and verification of finished product. Storage (Supervision): Inspection of the dimensioned areas with environmental control for inputs (packaging) and finished products (flours, balanced feed). Biomass as Sustainable Energy (Supervision): A central aspect of supervision will be the correct implementation of the biomass plant, intended to use processing residues (peels, bagasse) as a source of thermal or electrical energy for industry operation. Supervision will cover the selected technology (gasification, direct combustion or other), generation capacity, system efficiency and its integration with the energy needs of buildings and production processes. Support Systems (Supervision): Verification of the installation of ventilation/extraction systems, compressed air and industrial effluent treatment. Infrastructure (Supervision): Inspection of the construction of foundations, hydrosanitary systems (potable water, residual, rainwater, fire) for all buildings, and internal roads for high tonnage. Electrical System (Supervision): Verification of the installation of the electrical network (medium and low voltage), transformer, lighting, power outlets, protections, panels and capacitor banks for all buildings and the industrial plant. Regulatory Compliance (Supervision): Monitoring and verification of strict compliance with all current regulations in each stage of construction and equipment of buildings and the industrial plant. Technical Documentation (Supervision): Review and approval of reports, calculations, plans, specifications, estimates and schedules, ensuring coherence and adherence to designs. The ultimate goal of supervision is to ensure the construction of an efficient, safe, sustainable (with a strong biomass component) banana and cassava processing industry, in full regulatory compliance, including all necessary buildings for its integral operation.
