TESA STUDY FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE INTERACTIVE TOURISTIC AND CULTURAL THEME PARK VILLA MONTES

General Description

The project was implemented on a 6-hectare site, located in the town of San Antonio, municipality of Villa Montes. Its main objective was to develop an architectural, urban and thematic set of high cultural, historical and recreational value. The activities carried out included the integral architectural and urban design, the structural calculation for buildings and special elements, as well as the design of electrical and sanitary systems, including the Wastewater Treatment Plant (PTAR). Complementary projects for air conditioning, gas, and pumps for dancing waters, slides, and pools were also developed. Likewise, the Environmental Impact Study was carried out, ensuring the technical and environmental viability of the complex. As part of the final product, a physical model and a virtual representation (3D model) of the project were delivered, allowing its integral visualization for both technical and institutional dissemination purposes. The design contemplates multiple functional and thematic spaces, among which the following stand out: main atrium, ticket offices, vehicle parking, administrative building, maintenance workshops, and a museum complex composed of a closed museum (Corralito) and an open-air museum. Additionally, the complex incorporates historical monuments from the Chaco War (including pieces such as cannons, airplane, tank, and war truck), a system of walkways and a road circuit composed of pedestrian paths, bike paths, and a tourist railway layout. Recreational areas are also integrated, such as a paintball field, a play area with water slides up to 180 meters long, multiple pools for children and adults, climbing walls, food court, a gas plant with its associated pipeline, a scale oil tower, an insectarium, an artificial lagoon, an artificial river, a railway bridge, and a complete service area for visitors and staff. Likewise, a mini karting was implemented for the recreation of children and adults. This project was consolidated as a reference for thematic and cultural infrastructure, with a multidisciplinary approach and a comprehensive vision of regional development.
