CONSTRUCTION OF MICRO-IRRIGATION INTAKE TRAM VISCACHANI, OTB SINDICATO AGRARIO TIRANI, D13

General Description

The construction project of the microriego intake in the Viscachani section, OTB Sindicato Agrario Tirani, District 13, Cochabamba, has as its main objective to improve the efficiency in the use of water for irrigation, directly benefiting around 3,000 people in this agricultural region. The work focuses on optimizing the distribution of the water resource through the installation of: 2,600 linear meters of PVC E-40 pipe and accessories with a diameter of 2 inches, selected for their durability, resistance to corrosion and hydraulic efficiency in low-pressure irrigation systems. 213 linear meters of Galvanized Iron (F°G°) pipe and accessories with a diameter of 2 inches, used strategically in sections where greater mechanical resistance is required or in specific connection points of the system. The implementation of these materials will guarantee efficient water conduction with minimal losses, ensuring a constant supply for the crops. This will not only increase agricultural productivity, but also strengthen the local economy and contribute to the well-being of the residents. Additionally, the project promotes more sustainable agricultural practices, which is key to improving living conditions in the rural communities of Cochabamba. By providing an efficient and sustainable microriego system, the use of water resources is maximized, guaranteeing their availability in the long term. This project reflects our commitment to sustainable development, quality and efficiency, improving local infrastructure and supporting the economic and social development of the community. With this effort, we seek to contribute to the progress of rural areas and the resilience of agriculture in Cochabamba.
