General Description

This ambitious project, driven by Bolivia, represents a significant milestone for its scientific and technological development, focusing on the construction and installation of the Service Complex (Building 0.7) and the Fire Depot (Building 0.9) at the Nuclear Research and Technology Center (CIDTN), located in El Alto. This strategic initiative aims to strengthen the country's capabilities in the nuclear field for peaceful purposes. Building 0.7 will optimize the center's operations by integrating state-of-the-art laboratories, administrative offices, and collaboration spaces for Bolivian and international researchers. On the other hand, Building 0.9, equipped with a sophisticated fire-fighting system, will guarantee the maximum safety of the facilities and personnel, meeting international standards. This project will strengthen the center's research capabilities in key areas for Bolivia such as energy, health, and agriculture, and in turn, will promote the training of Bolivian professionals in nuclear sciences. The improvement of the Nuclear Research and Technology Center's infrastructure will consolidate its role as a regional reference in nuclear research and development, contributing to Bolivia's socio-economic progress. With a strategic investment in innovation and security, this project promises significant progress and sustainable development for the country.
