FINAL DESIGN STUDY FOR THE PROCESSING PLANT OF BALANCED FOOD IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF PALOS BLANCOS

General Description

This strategic project comprises the Final Design Study for the development and implementation of a state-of-the-art Industrial Plant for Balanced Food Processing. The facility is designed to meet the demand of the national market in the bovine, porcine, and poultry sectors. The initiative includes the comprehensive construction of infrastructure, the installation of cutting-edge equipment and machinery, the implementation of a high-efficiency electrical system, and the adoption of proactive environmental mitigation measures to ensure sustainable operation and reduce its ecological footprint. The plant is characterized by a complete and functional infrastructure, which includes: Raw Material Reception and Storage Unit: Incorporates a precision truck scale, an input discharge pit, a grain cleaning and conditioning area, helical conveyors, and a high-capacity bucket elevator for efficient handling of bulk materials. Grain Storage: Has two vertical storage silos, each with a nominal capacity of 100 metric tons, optimized for grain conservation. Processing and Mixing Unit: Equipped with a precision dosing scale, six finished product storage silos with a unit capacity of 40 metric tons, a high-efficiency hammer mill, a pelleting/pressing system, an area dedicated to micronutrient pre-mixing, and a double-helix horizontal mixer for optimal homogenization. Specialized Processing and Packaging Unit: Integrates a double-screw extruder for the production of specialized foods (e.g., extruded for aquaculture or pets), an automatic bagging machine, and an industrial sewing machine for efficient packaging of the final product. Finished Product Storage: A designated area with controlled conditions for the safe and organized storage of balanced feed prior to distribution. Support Infrastructure and Auxiliary Services: Includes administrative buildings, personnel welfare facilities (dining room), housing for key personnel, a control access booth, internal and external road network, perimeter security lighting system, and high-security perimeter fencing. Strategically located on a 13-hectare site, this processing plant goes beyond mere investment in physical assets. It consolidates as a catalyst for economic diversification, direct and indirect job creation, and strengthening of the socio-economic fabric in the municipality of Palos Blancos. By establishing local production of high-quality balanced feed, this project will position the region as a key and competitive player within the agro-livestock value chain at a regional scale, promoting food sovereignty and livestock productivity.
