SUPERVISION, QUALITY CONTROL AND SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT FOR THE WORKS IN THE LAS JAGÜITAS MACRO-SECTOR, POTABLE WATER AND SANITARY SEWERAGE NETWORK IN THE LOMAS DE BUENOS AIRES NEIGHBORHOOD, MANAGUA
General Description
The project included the Supervision and Quality Control of the Construction of Works aimed at improving and expanding the coverage of the Potable Water and Sanitary Sewer service of the condominium type. The activities executed included the comprehensive improvement of the capture, conduction, storage, and distribution system, contemplating the following components: Execution of preliminary works necessary for the implementation of the system; Supply and installation of 5,586 linear meters of pipes for impulse and conduction lines; Construction of two metal tanks elevated on soil, each with a capacity of 1,000 m³; Drilling and complete equipment of two new wells, as well as the re-equipment of two existing wells, including the rehabilitation of their associated electrical installations; Execution of connections with the existing distribution networks, guaranteeing their functionality and integration into the new system; Implementation of environmental mitigation measures and risk prevention, as well as the final cleaning of the intervention area and delivery of the work in accordance. Additionally, the Social Development component was developed, which included training activities aimed at the project's beneficiaries, with the objective of promoting the adequate and sustainable use of the implemented infrastructure.

El proyecto comprendió la Supervisión y Control de Calidad de la Construcción de Obras destinadas a mejorar y ampliar la cobertura del servicio de Agua Potable y Alcantarillado Sanitario tipo condominial. Las actividades ejecutadas incluyeron el mejoramiento integral del sistema de captación, conducción, almacenamiento y distribución, contemplando los siguientes componentes: Ejecución de obras preliminares necesarias para la implementación del sistema; Suministro e instalación de 5.586 metros lineales de tuberías para líneas de impulsión y conducción; Construcción de dos tanques metálicos elevados sobre suelo, cada uno con capacidad de 1.000 m³; Perforación y equipamiento completo de dos nuevos pozos, así como el reequipamiento de dos pozos existentes, incluyendo la rehabilitación de sus instalaciones eléctricas asociadas; Ejecución de empalmes con las redes de distribución existentes, garantizando su funcionalidad e integración al nuevo sistema; Implementación de medidas de mitigación ambiental y prevención de riesgos, así como la limpieza final del área de intervención y entrega de obra conforme. Adicionalmente, se desarrolló el componente de Desarrollo Social, el cual comprendió actividades de capacitación dirigidas a los beneficiarios del proyecto, con el objetivo de promover el uso adecuado y sostenible de la infraestructura implementada.
