FINAL DESIGN STUDY FOR THE IRRIGATION PROJECT FOR THE TURURUMBA COMMUNITY (AYANGO AND RACETE)
General Description
The "Final Design Study of the Irrigation Project for the Tururumba Community (Ayango and Racete)" project focused on creating an advanced and sustainable irrigation system for the communities of Ayango and Racete, with the primary objective of improving agricultural productivity and the quality of life of its inhabitants. This final design study consisted of the detailed planning of a drip irrigation system, a highly efficient methodology that optimizes the use of water and fertilizers, directing them directly to the root zone of plants. The implementation of this system is projected to cover an area of 300 hectares, which represents a significant impact on the region's productive capacity. Beyond the technical aspects, the project recognized the importance of community participation and social development. To this end, socialization workshops were carried out where the project was presented to the community members, their concerns were heard, and their ownership of the project was encouraged. Additionally, a Community Development (DESCOM) component was integrated, which sought to strengthen local capacities, promote sustainable management of the water resource, and ensure that the benefits of the project are translated into comprehensive development for Tururumba. In summary, this project not only focuses on irrigation infrastructure, but also integrates a holistic vision that considers water efficiency, agricultural sustainability, and community empowerment.

El proyecto "Estudio a Diseño Final del Proyecto de Riego para la Comunidad de Tururumba (Ayango y Racete)" se centró en la creación de un sistema de riego avanzado y sostenible para las comunidades de Ayango y Racete, con el objetivo primordial de mejorar la productividad agrícola y la calidad de vida de sus habitantes. Este estudio de diseño final consistió en la planificación detallada de un sistema de riego por goteo, una metodología altamente eficiente que optimiza el uso del agua y los fertilizantes, dirigiéndolos directamente a la zona radicular de las plantas. La implementación de este sistema está proyectada para abarcar una extensión de 300 hectáreas, lo que representa un impacto significativo en la capacidad productiva de la región. Más allá de los aspectos técnicos, el proyecto reconoció la importancia de la participación comunitaria y el desarrollo social. Para ello, se llevaron a cabo talleres de socialización donde se presentó el proyecto a los comunarios, se escucharon sus inquietudes y se fomentó su apropiación del mismo. Adicionalmente, se integró un componente de Desarrollo Comunitario (DESCOM), que buscó fortalecer las capacidades locales, promover la gestión sostenible del recurso hídrico y asegurar que los beneficios del proyecto se traduzcan en un desarrollo integral para Tururumba. En resumen, este proyecto no solo se enfoca en la infraestructura de riego, sino que integra una visión holística que considera la eficiencia hídrica, la sostenibilidad agrícola y el empoderamiento comunitario.
