General Description

The project development was carried out in the following interconnected phases: Analysis, Diagnosis, and Characterization of Solid Waste: Identification and quantification of types of waste. Market Study: Evaluation of opportunities for the insertion of valued waste. Waste Reduction Program: Implementation of strategies to minimize generation at source. Selection, Collection, and Transportation Program: Optimization of internal logistics of waste. Waste Utilization Program: Development of routes for valuation (recycling, composting, etc.). Waste Treatment and Final Disposal Program: Ensuring environmentally responsible final processes. Training Plan: Training of personnel involved in all stages of waste management. El "Plan de Manejo y Valoración de los Residuos Sólidos del Proyecto Desarrollo Integral de la Salmuera del Salar de Uyuni" fue diseñado para establecer un sistema de gestión integral que asegure el manejo adecuado de los residuos sólidos generados en el Proyecto de la Salmuera. El objetivo primordial fue la optimización de recursos mediante la reducción significativa de los costos asociados al transporte, tratamiento y disposición final, enfatizando la valorización como eje central. El desarrollo del proyecto se llevó a cabo en las siguientes fases interconectadas: Análisis, Diagnóstico y Caracterización de los Residuos Sólidos: Identificación y cuantificación de los tipos de residuos. Estudio de Mercado: Evaluación de oportunidades para la inserción de residuos valorizados. Programa de Reducción de Residuos: Implementación de estrategias para minimizar la generación en origen. Programa de Selección, Recolección y Transporte: Optimización logística interna de los residuos. Programa de Aprovechamiento de Residuos: Desarrollo de rutas para la valorización (reciclaje, compostaje, etc.). Programa de Tratamiento y Disposición Final de los Residuos: Aseguramiento de procesos finales ambientalmente responsables. Plan de Capacitación: Formación del personal involucrado en todas las etapas del manejo de residuos.
