SUPERVISION OF THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE PASSENGER TERMINAL BUILDING AT CAP. ANIBAL ARAB FADUL COBIJA AIRPORT
General Description
The project consisted of the technical and regulatory supervision of the construction of the new infrastructure of the Cap. Aníbal Arab Fadul Airport in Cobija. The supervision ensured the correct execution and compliance with engineering and safety standards. Scope of Supervision The supervision included: Buildings: Passenger Terminal, Cargo Terminal, and Administrative Offices. Airport Platform: Platform for Passengers and Cargo, including its structural design for aeronautical loads. Technical and Regulatory Control by System A rigorous control was exercised over the following systems: Structural Works: Verification of foundations, superstructure (slabs, beams, columns) and roofs, including quality control of materials (concrete, steel), compression tests, and compliance with seismic resistance standards. Sanitary Installations: Supervision of drinking water networks (internal networks, pumping, tightness), sanitary sewage (collection, slopes) and storm drainage (collectors, final disposal). Air Conditioning Systems (HVAC): Control of UMA installation, ductwork (laying, insulation), and control systems. Electrical Installations: Supervision of medium and low voltage networks, panels, cabling (gauge, ducts), lighting (emergency), grounding, lightning rods, and backup systems (electric generators, UPS). Communication and Data Network: Verification of structured cabling (UTP/STP, fiber optics), active equipment (switches, routers), CCTV, access control, fire detection/alarm systems, and audiovisual systems (FIDS, PA). Accesses and Parking Areas: Control of pavement quality (asphalt/concrete), signage (horizontal/vertical) and surface drainage. This comprehensive supervision was essential to ensure that the airport complies with high infrastructure standards, ensuring its operability, safety, and durability.

El proyecto consistió en la supervisión técnica y normativa integral de la construcción de la nueva infraestructura del Aeropuerto Cap. Aníbal Arab Fadul en Cobija. La supervisión aseguró la correcta ejecución y el cumplimiento de estándares de ingeniería y seguridad. Alcance de la Supervisión La supervisión abarcó: Edificaciones: Terminal de Pasajeros, Terminal de Carga, y Oficinas Administrativas. Plataforma Aeroportuaria: Plataforma para Pasajeros y Carga, incluyendo su diseño estructural para cargas aeronáuticas. Control Técnico y Normativo por Sistema Se ejerció un control riguroso sobre los siguientes sistemas: Obras Estructurales: Verificación de cimentaciones, superestructura (losas, vigas, columnas) y cubiertas, incluyendo control de calidad de materiales (hormigón, acero), pruebas de compresión, y cumplimiento de normas sismorresistentes. Instalaciones Hidrosanitarias: Supervisión de redes de agua potable (redes internas, bombeo, estanqueidad), alcantarillado sanitario (recolección, pendientes) y drenaje pluvial (colectores, disposición final). Sistemas de Climatización (HVAC): Control de instalación de UMAs, ductería (tendido, aislamiento), y sistemas de control. Instalaciones Eléctricas: Supervisión de redes de media y baja tensión, tableros, cableado (calibre, canalizaciones), iluminación (emergencia), puesta a tierra, pararrayos, y sistemas de respaldo (grupos electrógenos, UPS). Red de Comunicación y Datos: Verificación de cableado estructurado (UTP/STP, fibra óptica), equipos activos (switches, routers), CCTV, control de accesos, sistemas de detección/alarma de incendios, y sistemas audiovisuales (FIDS, PA). Accesos y Áreas de Parqueo: Control de calidad de pavimentos (asfálticos/hormigón), señalización (horizontal/vertical) y drenaje superficial. Esta supervisión integral fue esencial para garantizar que el aeropuerto cumpla con altos estándares de infraestructura, asegurando su operatividad, seguridad y durabilidad.
